2012 Spring"Brick" Clinic

CompuTrainer_class_2-18-10_1SplashnDash is continuing with a 8-week "Brick" Clinic at the Wedgewood gym starting April 2012.

This clinic will take place on Saturday mornings from 8:00 - 9:30 am and will consist of a 60 min+ bike ride on your own bike/trainer followed immediately by a run on the trails (weather permitting). All classes are scheduled for 1.5 hrs.  For the month of May we will take the training outdoors(weather permitting) for our hill training followed by a run.

New this year: We have a lot of courses to choose from for a virutal ride of your desired goal race.

This clinic is taught by certified Triathlon Coaches. We saw some heated rides inside last spring while it was cold & windy outside! Cost: $60 for 8 weeks. To register, click here

 

INDIVIDUAL BIKE ASSESSMENTS

New to biking? Want to become more efficient in your bike output?

SplashnDash is offering an individual bike assessment complete with power, efficiency and torque angle analysis and potentials, bike posture video anaylsis and an individualized biking/triathlon plan. To register, click here.

 

Long Rides - 2 hrs on Tuesday evenings.

Don't forget an essential component of your spring training: time in the saddle. Long rides at Heart Rate Zone 1 and 2 are needed for any endurance event. You can ride up to 2 hrs in the saddle while passing the time quickly in a group setting.

 Organized Mountain Bike Trail Rides

 9 weeks, Saturday mornings 9:00 am

If you loved to take your road bike out in the summer for organized bike rides, you will love these trail ridesNew_Picture_1 along scenic trails. You will watch the colours change from week to week while enjoying to work out in a group setting. The rides will vary in length progressively throughout the duration of this session. These rides are not races, but we do have developed a point system rewarding the participant with attendance and bike handling skills tests. The session winds down with a BBQ where the “gravel road biker” trophy will be revealed.

You will have to have a current BNL or TriNL membership to participate.
